Career Day 2025

Career Day at Walsh was in December. The thank yous showed up today, nine months later. That is about right for middle school paperwork, and I would have waited longer.

This year was AI models. What they are, how many there are, why Austin is a strange and lucky place to be a kid right now. The Minecraft cake made it back into the deck. So did the AI photos of me with people I have never met.

One student has now sat through my presentation three years in a row and still showed up. One note is clearly about a different presenter. I kept it. They all went in exactly as written.

I found it very interesting , I learned that there are more than one type of AI. It was meaningful to me because it explained a lot of my questions about AI.

Thank you for the wonderful presentation I learned a lot about AI from you today.

I enjoyed listening to you talking about AI. It made me realize that AI is a powerful tool that you can use to better your life.

I enjoyed your presentation because you gave us a lot of examples of different models of AI and told us about your job. In the one picture you gave us I saw 3 computers with a bunch of code on them. You also made your job look appealing by saying you work from home and on your own schedule.

I really enjoyed the way you presented you job and I think you made that environment very enjoyable.

I enjoyed how much he interacted with the class which made the presentation very interesting.

Everything was sort of interesting to me, I don't really know what was meaningful in your presentation, other than how AI works.

Thank you for making it fun rather than, "This is my career and I do it because..."! It makes my time actually useful!

Even though I didn't get to see the original presentation, the substitute one was amazing, they made being at A&M medical look very appealing with different types of doctors and professions so everyone could find something they liked

I enjoyed his presentation because he explained in a funny, but professional way, making it understandable and it was meaningful for me because his job was interesting.
