Spectacular event for us in central Texas as well as a large swath of the United States today. Truly amazing to see a full eclipse with our own eyes. Photos don't do it justice.

Here are a few from the backyard today. It was cloudy but that helped with visibility of the partial eclipse as it moved to cover the sun. It wasn't total darkness on the ground but an eerie light and birds were chirping and traffic mostly stopped. 3 minutes or so of totality. Really a reminder that we are floating in space and 100% of the stuff we worry about doesn't move the celestial needle.
